The Gozo Motocross Association organised its third round of the 2021 championship last Sunday at Ta’ Xħajma Track.
Leading rider of Class A Steve Xuereb dominated the day and ended in first place. Xuereb achieved maximum points of the day with Mario Cauchi following closely behind.
Class B was just as challenging with Robert Spiteri and Jorn Stellini striving hard to come into first place. Stellini managed to overcome the challenge and won this category followed by Spiteri and Matthew Zammit who came in third.
Mark Camilleri managed to win first place in Class C, beating current Class C leader Jurgen Attard whoe ended up third on the day. Anthony Fenech came in second place.
In Class D, Scott Donovan did well and won first place. Meanwhile, Paul Caruana came in second followed by Chris Tyler Mizzi who earned his first ever victory.
The Gozo Motocross Association would like to announces that the Championship shall be suspended for the Christmass recess with the fourth round of the Gozo Motocross Championship 2021 fuelledbyEnemed taking place on Sunday 10th January 2021 at Ta’ Xhajma Track.
Races start at 13:00.
GMA President Frank Xuereb presented trophies sponsored by DBar Bar & Restaurant to the winners of the day.
